DIN 10528 for food hygiene changed

The latest update of the DIN standard states that under certain conditions, wood has been readmitted in the commercial food industry. Because of several proven antibacterial properties, Hygienic Wood in particular, has actually been recommended for use. Coming soon is the first butcher’s shop fully equipped with all Hygienic Wood cutting surfaces. Wilms will be exhibiting at “camexpo 2009” in London on the 24th and 25th of October.

Only a few months after the Festival of Falconry in Reading (UK), the Wilms Hygienic Wood team again makes its way to England. Destination: camexpo 2009 - an exhibition for complementary and alternative medicine.

Over 200 exhibitors including leading authors, associations, practitioners and therapists will be in attendance to present their approaches, services and products. Also planned are interesting seminars and workshops. There’s something at camexpo 2009 for every health conscious person!

Fewer Cavities but More Gingival Diseases

In Germany, cavities and tooth loss have been reduced. Gum disease, however, is on the rise! This was shown in studies on oral health conducted by the Institute of German Dentists. About half of 35-44 year olds suffer from moderate to severe gingivitis while one in five experience severe periodontitis (inflammation of the gums). Premiere of the Organic Falcon Country House

At the Festival of Falconry in Reading (UK) on July 11th and 12th, the Wilms Hygienic Wood team presented their new, state of the art falcon aviary. The interest in this aviary and in the scientific research behind it was enormous.
